DOM:

Sean was very knowledgeable about this subject .
Robert:

Very interesting , I think the diagnostic approach will help me a lot. Thanks
Tyrone :

I had decent knowledge of can bus, but had only ever encountered wiring faults. Just two days after completing the webinar I was able to diagnose a faulty controller corrupting the network on a Bulldozer utilising some of the techniques I learnt from Sean. Thanks TAT and Sean for organising this.
Scott Thomas:

Sean really knows his stuff, and provides practical every-day testing techniques and processes that can be applied to real-world cases we see in our workshop on a regular basis.
Robert Sleeth:

Great training presentation Shaun. I had all my team watch it and their feed back was fantastic. Between your Podcast and all these training classes that you provide to our trade I can’t thank you enough. I highly encourage all shop owners to provide these education opportunities for there staff.

Network Diagnostics with Sean Tipping

This session is built for working technicians who want a repeatable method for tracking down network and module communication faults - not network theory for its own sake. We'll work through real case studies with Sean Tipping, actual oscilloscope captures, and the wrong turns and dead ends from real jobs. So you leave knowing how to access a network, isolate the fault, and tell what your tools are really showing you.

  • Build a repeatable process for approaching CAN, LIN and Ethernet communication faults.
  • Learn where and how to access vehicle networks without wasting time in the wrong area.
  • Use real oscilloscope captures to separate normal network behaviour from genuine faults.
  • Follow real case studies showing the test path, wrong turns, dead ends and final fix.
  • Improve your confidence in deciding whether the fault is wiring, a module, network traffic or tool interpretation.
