The vehicle lost power while driving and stopped. After the breakdown, it would crank over but would not start.

Confirmed a crank no-start condition. The engine had spark, good compression, fuel pressure and injector pulse. The engine would only attempt to fire with the fuel pump relay removed and the throttle held wide open, indicating an over-fuelling or exhaust restriction style fault. Live data appeared normal apart from a very high cold injector pulse reading of approximately 60 milliseconds. Known good camshaft, crankshaft, coolant temperature sensors, air mass meter and DFI module were swapped for testing with no change to the fault.
