The vehicle came from another workshop with an intermittent crank no-start condition. When it did start, it would not rev past 1300 RPM, and the customer had been told there may be a fuel pressure issue.

Problem Summary

When the vehicle first arrived, it was a crank no-start. On initial inspection it then started normally, idled at about 800 RPM with the MIL on, but stalled as soon as the accelerator pedal was applied. It then returned to a crank no-start condition and sounded as though it was almost trying to catch.
