The vehicle logged P2453 - Particulate filter pressure sensor A circuit range/performance, entered limp mode on most starts, would not complete a regeneration, showed the DPF at 5 bars full and would not shift past 2nd gear.

The fault had been intermittent for about 3 months before becoming persistent and difficult to clear. The check engine light, DPF warning and traction or stability warning were reported, with a driving history that included short trips and highway use. A turbo siren noise was also reported under load, at idle and when backing off the throttle.
