The vehicle developed an intermittent fault approximately two months prior, where engine performance would momentarily collapse during normal driving. Puffs of white smoke appeared from the tailpipe in sync with the misfiring, and the condition recovered on its own after roughly 30 seconds. The fault could not be reliably reproduced under hard driving or full boost conditions, and no warning lights were illuminated.
