The customer reported an intermittent hard starting concern. The vehicle would usually start normally when cold in the morning, but after being driven and parked hot it would sometimes crank and not start. The fault was becoming more frequent.

The vehicle started normally when first moved into the workshop. Initial checks included a battery load test, charging system test and lighting system check. A full vehicle electronic scan found history fault code P0340:00:68 Camshaft Position Sensor “A” Circuit Bank 1 or Single Sensor stored in the PCM {{pic1}}.
