The customer reported a long crank after shut-off, with the fault becoming worse when the engine was hot.

The fault was initially suspected to be fuel system related, based on previous experience, although an electrical component failing under heat soak was also considered. The only reported scan-tool entry was a startability malfunction, but no specific DTC number was supplied.
